What could be as charming as a vibrant and colourful wonky little building! They are pleasure to look upon and a joy to paint. This class consists of 4 lessons in which you will learn how to create these little treasures 🙂
What could be as charming as a vibrant and colourful wonky little building! They are pleasure to look upon and a joy to paint. Loose and messy is the best way to create art, you feel a sense of freedom, and a happiness well up in your heart 🙂
The cost for this class is US$45.
I’ve almost completely filled a journal with these little treasures and I wanted to share the process with you. In this class we will create 4 little scenes. Each of them slightly different in style but using the same techniques. They are loose and wonky, it’s what gives them their character.
We’ll be working on toned paper, which adds that extra bit of charm, and using bold solid colours with some added layering for depth.
I’ll go over the basics of perspective (it’s simple!), so that your buildings really pop off the page. We’ll add bold colours (the brighter the better!) with some white and neutral tones. Our lines will be wobbly, all over the place, and none of them will be straight!
If this is how you would like to create, with freedom and boldness, then come and join me for this fun filled class 🙂
Who is this class for?
This is a beginners to intermediate class incorporating basic painting and simple drawing techniques. I will go over some basic perspective points. It is a work at your own pace class. You will gain access to around 4.5 hours of video in which I walk you through each step of the projects.
Included are reference photos of the pieces we will create, as well as links to my Pinterest board with lots of images you can use to create your own little views.
This is an open ended workshop with no expiration date. Plus all the videos are downloadable and yours to keep!
You will have access to my private combined FACEBOOK GROUP with others that are also taking my classes, to share your work and get feedback.
Toni is a wonderful artist and a natural teacher. Her techniques are accessible and straightforward and she explains everything so clearly that she brings you along with her every step of the way. Toni’s classes are a gateway into a creative world no matter what your level of experience, and such great value that you will be coming back for more. – Nicola F.
