  3. I think going to all of the old areas of New York with a good camera, Polaroid or old school type, would be so much fun to get material to draw and paint. The old architecture and fire escape type buildings, the old gargoyles and scroll work, the Art Deco style. So much fun to use old places for new art work!

    Especially old buildings, with stonework.
    Maybe some sights in the UK rural area.

  5. I live in a beautiful small town in Croatia called Trogir, which was declared one of the 10 most beautiful island cities in the world by National Geo, also called Little Venice. My wish is to draw every street, every house, every stone in my town and I hope that I will be able to do that with knowledge from this course

I love old buildings and I have hundreds of photos of old buildings and different aspects of them from here in New Zealand and from our trips to visit our son and his family in Sydney and friends in Melbourne. In particular old buildings related to ordinary people and their lives. I get quite excited about them! I would dearly love to translate the beauty of these somehow into art of some kind but I don’t know how or where to start!!! I would love to see if your urban sketching course could kickstart me.

  10. I love, love your buildings! We are going to England for our first overseas trip ever at 63 years of age, for our 25th anniversary. I would love to sketch the buildings we visit there, especially the Beatrix Potter house.

    1. There are so many nice places in the world to draw. Big, famous cities, towns or small villages. Ofcourse I would love to draw them.

      But most of all I would love to go and draw a combination of nature and buildings. The north cape in Norway is coming to my mind. But I am sure there are many great spots in Iceland as well.
      And I am sure Australia also has great spots. But that’s a huge dream, going there from the Netherlands.

  17. I love the charm and beauty of all European villages, but there are just way too many to choose from. However, if I had to make a decision, I would probably start with Southern France or the Amalfi Coast. 💕

    1. I would love to paint Montefioralle. The structure of brickwork, the culture, the warm colors. I would love to visit one day!
