  1. It is so interesting painting and drawing with the non dominant hand. I would never have imagined that I could do it. I really enjoyed your Life book taster session, thank you Toni! Cassandra from the UK

  2. Hi from Sydney Toni. Thank you again for sharing your fabulous video and your wealth of knowledge & techniques. I’ve watched it many times over the past day or so & now created a gathering of twelve new arty lady friends, or new relatives..(lol). (Non of my friends are arty or crafty!!). I’ve gone absolutely OCD. As I paint them, I feel that I am creating their personalities & when finished, can almost tell what their lifestyle is. Instead of using found words, I’ve been scrawling handwriting around them & it’s almost as if they are telling me what to write, waffling on about their hairstyle or clothing. I’m into it in a big way & will take a group photo for fb. I firstly did a segment with you on Sketchbook Revival and became addicted to your painted ladies at that time . It’s a wonderful addiction to have & like yourself, I chop & change from one project to another & am always making or creating something. It’s my way of being, my lifestyle. Thank you again, take care..hugs xx

  3. Hi Toni,
Thank you for this taster session – I really enjoy your free and intuitive style and the end result is so full of depth, beauty and character! I’m inspired to try working with my non-dominant hand (though I’m also a little scared of it tbh!) Much gratitude for taking the time to offer this session, and for the gorgeous printable image.

  4. This was amazing! I have never tried to draw with my left hand. I will try it again, with different colors. Enjoyed your tutorial very much. Thank you

  5. I just love your lessons. Your work is so spontaneous and fun. Actually love mine when I use some of your methods. Thanks Toni!

  6. Thanks Toni.. I was super skeptical about drawing with my left hand and almost didn’t do this… Thankfully greater powers persevered and I bit the bullet… Very very eye opening

  7. Thank you Toni for the very inspiring lesson! I love your ladies with their white hair and bright clothes, they create such a mood and I would love to chat with them. All the best – Heidi

  8. This is a beautiful painting. Thank you so much for gifting it to us, Toni.
You are so inspiring. I would never have thought that anyone could create such beauty by scribbling and left handed painting this way.
Thank you thank you for the workshop and the gift.
    Kindest regards,
    Anastasia

  9. Thank you so much for the session and the generous gift of your lady. I am still buzzing after completing your lesson and I love my piece. You helped me break down a barrier and I am so happy.

  10. Thank you Toni, loved your lesson, it made me smile.
Love your style and found your lesson relaxing & easy to follow.
Will definitely being creating this style again.

  11. Thank you so much, Toni! I have never drawn a face or a fox and yet you girls have pushed me off a cleft!!!! My lady actually has eyes…and I’m so contemplating the thought behind them.

  12. I’m new to mixed media but like you I dabble in lots of crafts. I loved the left handed technique as I am also very right handed dominant and want to control everything and have everything symmetrical. I love the way you leave things a bit messy…I have to practice being okay with this in life as well as in art. Thank you!

  13. Hi Toni!
Thank you for your session. I have to get some white pens. Loved your dog. A lot like mine.
When things open up, I’d like to visit your country. Do you do any art classes? In real time? I teach art too. Just got back from New Zealand in March.
If you take on visiting art teachers for a workshop, let me know.

  23. Hi Toni, I have already signed up for this! Very excited and was so glad to see that you were one of the artists! I would love to sign up for the actual year long Life Book event but… I recently lost my job due to COVID 🙁 darn it! I will have my job back again, hopefully next spring. But until then “no unnecessary spending for my hubby and I” at least for the next few months.
I am looking forward to the taster session though! I will be there 🙂
