I have been working on these little brush water jars for many months and they have finally come into fruition …and I am smitten.
This is a truly unique item you will only find here in my online pottery shop. Handmade with ceramic and recycled copper a wonderful paint water / brush jar – perfect for the watercolour artist who already has everything!
These are designed by me and completely handmade in my pottery studio. Made of a rustic brown clay glazed in a drippy white mottled glaze and features recycled copper and tin soldered brush holder. You can hold one horizontal (or stack a couple of brushes up), and one vertical brush also stands in the rear loop handle.
The copper on your piece is raw copper, it will age over time and become a more muted red/brown.
