There’s something so calming and joyful about working with fibre and yarn, it’s soothing to the soul. The tactile quality of it in your hands, the dance the colours create when they are interwoven and blended. I call my style of weaving “art weaving” because to me it is creating an artwork with fibre.
Description
There’s something so calming and joyful about working with fibre and yarn, it’s soothing to the soul. The tactile quality of it in your hands, the dance the colours create when they are interwoven and blended. I call my style of weaving “art weaving” because to me it is creating an artwork with fibre.
Working like this is a purely intuitive process, no set plan, make it up as you go along…that’s the joy of it.
