Welcome to the tooty fruity classroom!
I love painting fruit! I know it sounds weird…or does it 🙂 Maybe you don’t think so or you wouldn’t be here wanting to do it to!
It started about 20 years ago, when I used to paint still life’s, except I used acrylic paint back then. I loved it, but the fun of creating these little balls of “sunshine and smiles” with watercolour is incomparable 🙂
I really do think this is one of the most fun courses I have made. It felt just so natural to use watercolour in this way. I hope you will fall in love with it also.
Now we are going to start with our simple “lone mandarin” to get into the feel of it. You can do that lesson as many times as you like. Try a few different reference images, there are a lot on the internet.
We will progressively add more fruit, but always using the same technique, so it really gets embedded in that artistic mind (and heart) of yours.
This page contains all the classroom content and links to the videos for the five lessons (which are right at the bottom of this page!).

I have a private facebook group for all of my classes “a journey for the soul”. Here you can share your artwork with others taking my classes, and gain feedback and ask questions.
I will add or invite you to the group after you join the class.
(If your login email and facebook email are different please message me as sometimes it is difficult to join the group as it is a secret group.)
