My moth girl, another gatherer with pocket, earthenware midfire clay, should be cream and pink after it's fired twice. I LOVE making these so much.

It had to be done! She needed a hare friend to gather her treasures with.
"kindred spirits" I've named them.
This is dry raw clay, it is super fragile until it gets fired, after which it will look completely different, the coloured clay parts will be much darker, and a wash of oxides will be added to hightlight all the cracks, crevices and details.

How could she not be named "the gatherer".
She's still wet clay and needs two rounds through the kiln yet, but I'm in love with her already. I used an earthier clay than I usually do, in 3 colours, not the white porcelain, so she will be very different after she's fired. She has a little pocket on her side to keep all her gathered treasures in. 10 inches tall.
